I have heard and read so many reviews re Nu Skin’s Galvanic Spa and would like to give it a shot. I am now currently on Obagi Nu Derm System and not ready to give it up yet. Would anyone know if the Galvanic Spa’s gels would interact badly with the Obagi Nu Derm. If I had to give up one, which one would you recommend? I am looking for a product that will help tighten my skin, take out the dullness, and also help with acne.

Obagi Nu Derm System seems like a good choice aswell depending on your skin problem. Being a Nu Skin consumer and distributor for 8 years i can say that many of our customers world wide are having fantastic results from using our Galvanic Spa together with Tru Face Essence Ultra (my favorite for tightening the skin).

If you have the money try both, otherwise start with Galvanic and you wont need the other… and see what happens.

I need help girls on the choice of lightening products sale in the U.S.. I try really a product that can help me to remove spots in my legs and make my skin a little clearer in the uniform. I love the Obagi Clear – I use the whole system. I don’t know about using only the Clear, you should ask your dermatologist or someone who sells Obagi.

I have had clear skin most of my life, but within the last year I’ve gotten acne on my forehead and a little on my chin and my nose is often just slightly red. It got irritated with all the products and I have a few scars remaining on my lower forehead. I’ve tried the Obagi Clenziderm acne kit and it made no difference. I’ve heard Exposed is an effective brand and that the Acnepril supplement can work pretty well too.

Go to the store and get Cortizone 10.It will help stop acne.

Soak a cotton ball in warm salt water. Press on top of blemish for 3 minutes to dissolve the top. Then, dab a bit of honey on the affected area to deep clean the pore and draw out bacteria. Let it sit for 10 minutes.

One thing you should do is change your pillow case(s) every day. That way you won’t get any oil or dirt on your face again.

"Proactiv®" has also proven to be useful in some circumstances, though for some people it doesn’t work.

If you ever pop a whitehead and you have "Proactiv®", put a dab of Revitalizing Toner on the popped zit. This should help clear it.

Apply some sudocrem to your spots, This helps them.

Use shampoo! suave professionals biobasics for damaged hair is a good example. its cheap and you have a lot of it, and at the same time it gets rid of all the oil and grease, helping zits fade. however, many shampoos contain lauryl sulfates which can damage your skin.

I have never had acne, not even as a teenager. I started the Obagi system and continued it for the length of time prescribed. My skin looked great. I stopped as I was instructed to do and now I have a forehead full of acne and I get those large, red, painful ones under the skin. I can’t see any other connnection. The spa where I started the program told me I had to keep using it. I asked for how long and they didn’t know. Anyone else have this problem?

I would suggest you to stay away from this thing for a few weeks (at least 2-4) and see how things go. If your acne persists or worsens then you should see a doctor, good luck

I usually use Obagi #3 Clear (skin corrector cream) w/ hydroquinone, but I recently found out that I am pregnant and I stopped using the cream because I was afraid that hydroquinone might have a negative effect. Does anybody know if hydroquinone is not recommended for pregnant women? Can anybody recommend a skin bleaching/lightening cream (for hyperpigmentation) that is safe to use on pregnant women? Are kojic and glycolic acid safe? Can somebody please let me know what is safe and good to use while pregnant? Can you please give me a specific product name because I really want to purchase one? Thank you so much in advance for your help!!

I also use Obagi and have worked in the field for many years. The answer is no, you cannot use any of the steps except for #1 (the cleanser), #2 (the toner), and #6 (SPF). A natural skin lightener that you can use while pregnant is phyto (Skinceuticals makes one). It is always smart to ask your OB as well, but that is what we recommended for our patients at a couple different Plastic surgeons offices. Hope this helps!
