Alright, I’m a teenager, and has been suffering from acne for about 2 years now. I’m asian, specifically korean, have oily skin, and I’m currently on Obagi. And it doesn’t seem to solve my problem. I’ve tried proactiv, all the stuff in OTC products, and I’m thinking about accutane. I know the side effects or what not, but I’m wondering if I should really make a big deal out of this, and try this medication. And, I have mild acne. I don’t have cystic, or nodule acne. I just have a lot of blemishes, acne scars, whiteheads that grow every night, and blackheads, and red bumps.

My gf has purchased accutane online without prescription and cured her acne in 3 months! She was on 30 mg tablets. You’ d better to consult with your doctor anyway, cause accutane might have some side effects. Also when you are taking accutane, do not smoke. It is not recommended! I am sure you will cure it easily, it is just a matter of time.

I feel like I have tried EVERYTHING and nothing has seemed to help so I’m wondering if anyone can suggest something that might help? I am in mid-late 20’s and have been battling acne for almost 5 years. It’s not a little bit of acne, I break out on my cheeks and I have a new pimple almost every day and I get cystic acne on my neck. I have normal/oily skin.
I have tried the following products that didn’t do much:
DDF blemish foaming cleanser
Murad acne complex starter kit
Proactiv (this helped but REALLY dried my skin)
Neutrogena oil-free acne wash
Neutrogena oil-free acne stress control
Obagi nu-derm
Cetaphil for normal to oily skin
Clinique acne solutions
I’ve also used cleansers by
St. Ives
Biore
Clearasil
The list goes on…
I have also seen dozens of dermatologists and I’ve done the whole retin-A thing and tazorac and differin and whatever other crap they could possibly prescribe for acne (including dozens of different antibiotics). I’ve had weekly facials, I’ve gotten chemical peels, micros, used a high-frequency thing that kills bacteria, I’ve been under blue lights and red lights and used lasers…
I’ve seen some of the best dermatologists in America and still nothing.
I am currently taking yaz because it was between that and acutane and yaz’s side effects seemed a little less severe.
Is there a product that I haven’t come across that might help? Or maybe a bunch of different products that might work together that someone has tried?

There is no one answer for this question but from my experience if you really want to cure your acne there are two recommended methods that should combined together (if you can afford it) for best results.
Firstly and more important in my opinion and experience, you must learn how you should fix the internal problem that’s causing your acne, not just masking the symptoms or getting relief.
There are only few good Ebooks and acne cure programs that can teach you exactly how to cure your acne from the inside.
Where medicine has failed them the authors have done their own research and found a way to overcome acne. In their programs they share their great knowledge with other acne sufferers. Anyhow, be very careful because many of them are pure crap with little value.

My sister asked me to get her something to do with "Obagi Skin Care" for her birthday. She also was interested in Anti-Aging creams or skin treatment, or whatever its called. Where can I find this stuff? She was really insistent on the Obagi Skin Care, but I don’t know where to buy it.
I have been a fan of Obagi Skin Care since it came out to the general public. It has worked great, and yes, it is hard to find. I found a few sites that offer it, but all were very expensive or not worth it. I finally found a site that offered really good quality Obagi and anti-aging products, so it is the only site I use anymore

i recently purchased obagi skin care products for acne, rough skin, brown spots(from sun and hormones). i was wondering what your experiences were with this product. do you know where to find them cheaper?
i haven’t used these products but i know some people who have. I noticed that they looked younger while they were on these products but after they stopped using it i saw noticed that their skin started developing brown spots and looked older.
So, i guess you’d have to use them regularly to get the best results.
But i also think you should consult with a reputable dermatologist before using these kinds of products.
Speaking through experience, my dermatologist gives the best regimen for my skin problems and i don’t even spend a fraction of the price of obagi products.
So ive been on the OBAGI Clenziderm MD for about 4 days now. started seeing some clearing up in my acne but now my face is peeling so bad you cant see anything. has anyone been on it before and if so how long does the peeling last? and anything to help it. tried mosterizer but it stays the same. any tips on using it? any input would help thank you
Don’t worry . Pealing is part of the treatment. It’s intended if mild to moderate. Don’t use any moisturizer , just take care of using mild soap or hygienic soap to wash your face . Cy-teal is a good option . It was prescribed for me before by my dermatologist . Just don’t put a very thick layer to avoid extensive peeling.
