Obagi Blue Peel Treatment
By Unknown
If you’re in search for a younger looking skin transformation, then you should consider the Obagi Blue Peel.
Developed by Dr. Zein Obagi, the Obagi Blue Peel is an aggressive treatment for advanced skin regeneration. It is one of the most effective methods of chemical peeling, and is considered a medium depth chemical peel treatment. It is similar to the TCA peel, as its main active component is trichloroacetic acid. The Obagi Blue Peel Nu Derm System, is also referred to as “blue peel”, “obagi peel”, and even “TCA peel”.
An advantage to the Obagi Blue Peel that doctors appreciate is that the treatment can be easily customized to each unique patient by controlling the depth of the peel. A blueish-green dye is combined with the cream mixture to indicate and aid the physician where the Blue Peel has not been administered.
A minor inconvenience of the blue peel is that after the paste like application, you literally look like a “blue smurf”. Fortunately, the residues of the blue peel remains and stains your skin only temporarily, quickly fading away.
The blue peel requires a number of returning visits, as it tends to be weaker than an absolute TCA peel. The non-painful treatments lasts for approximately 20 minutes, and it is recommended to be on the Obagi Nu Derm skin care regimen as a precursor to the peel.
The Obagi Blue Peel procedure helps to restore healthy, beautiful skin and can be found in almost every dermatologists and plastic surgeons office as part of their skin care arsenal.
Use Obagi Clear to effectively restore a younger, healthy looking skin.

So ive been on the OBAGI Clenziderm MD for about 4 days now. started seeing some clearing up in my acne but now my face is peeling so bad you cant see anything. has anyone been on it before and if so how long does the peeling last? and anything to help it. tried mosterizer but it stays the same. any tips on using it? any input would help thank you
Don’t worry . Pealing is part of the treatment. It’s intended if mild to moderate. Don’t use any moisturizer , just take care of using mild soap or hygienic soap to wash your face . Cy-teal is a good option . It was prescribed for me before by my dermatologist . Just don’t put a very thick layer to avoid extensive peeling.

Ellen de Generes gives Obagi to her audience. And like Andy, you too can have beautiful skin. Obagi skin care products will improve your skin and protect it from further damage. There are product lines to correct, protect, restore, enhance, clear up acne, and ensure that your young looking skin stays that way.

I’ve been on the Obagi Clenziderm system for about three months now and have noticed that my skin has cleared, but not all the way, or as much as I would have liked it to. I still have occasional breakouts, which is to be expected sometimes, as I have horribly sensitive skin, but I break out more often than I should be. Also, I think that the products may be much too harsh on problem areas, and on my skin as a whole.
Here’s the thing though- I have oily and dry skin, but its not combination. It’s more like extremely dry in some areas and extremely oily in others. I chose the Normal-Oily system because of this, but is it possible that I should switch over? The products in the Normal-Dry system seem to have ingredients that are less harsh…but are they too mild? Will they work at all?
I’m really confused here and if anyone knows what I’m talking about or has tried one of these systems (or both!) please help.
Find a different product. If Obagi Clenziderm was working efficiently, you would be satisfied with your skin.
GOOD LUCK!
I have paid at least £10,000 on acne scar treatments such as Blue peels, IPL laser, Fraxel laser, Obagi produces, N lite laser etc etc etc but still I have acne scarring. I also still get mild to moderate acne that scars really easily due to my very sensitive skin.
I went to see a new dermatologist the other day who presecribed Isotretonoin gel and Duac gel to clear up the acne. With regard to the scarring he said the retin A in isotretinoin gel would help with it and to save my money and not have any more laser because on a scale of 1-10 my scars are only a 1. He did however say that he could see them in the light that was coming through the window behind me but that he was trained to see them. Why then, if my scars are this subtle do they absolutely rule my life Why do I walk through town with my hair covering my cheeks. Why does nobody see me without make up on

Acne marks usually develop when you pop a pimple or squeeze it out. This action peels off the pimple and the skin forcefully and leaves a permanent mark at the affected area. The deeper the skin peels off, the darker is the mark. Sometimes, it may leave a scar, which is all the more difficult to get rid off. However, you may try out these remedies at home that will help you to get rid off acne marks and cure your face.
* Take the fresh juice of lemon and dip some cotton wool in it. Pat your face with the cotton and let it dry. Some people may find the lemon juice irritating. In that case, you can dilute it in some water or rose-water. Let it dry for 15-20 minutes and wash your face with water after that. Do this at least four times a week and you will find considerable change.
* Make a paste with some sandalwood powder and rose-water. Add 2-4 drops of lime juice to it. Apply this paste on your face and neck and let it dry completely. After that, rinse your face with cool water and wipe off the paste with cotton wool. Do this on a regular basis (twice a week) to get good results.
* Apply cucumber juice on your face with cotton wool. In summers, you can do this almost daily as it helps cool off the skin and tighten the pores. Cucumber juice is very helpful is making your skin glow and make it feel fresh.
* A popular homemade remedy for removing acne marks is to make a paste of apple and honey. Make the apple paste first and then add 4-6 drops of honey. Apply this mask on your face. Wash off after 15 minutes. This will tighten pores and make your complexion light.

Okay my face was terrible when i was using over the counter acne medication i even tried proactiv but it wont work do see your doctor like i did. then he will probably start you on something called retin-a which will make your face really red and irritated but then if that doesnt work he will put you on something called du ac and differn which helped me alot and i have only been on it for two months and i hav been taking an oral medication too, but if that doesnt work he will tell you to go see a dermotologist to talk about accutane which is really dangerous but you probably dont need it you sound like you are probably very attractive with that little bit of acne. but to sum it all up try your doctor. hope that helps!!
Ok well my acne usually isn’t that bad, but ever since i started exercising regularly and eating healthier it has gotten a whole lot worse. I don’t know what else to do. I have tried that Acne Free Severe stuff, ProActive, Differin, BenaClin, those acne pill things, Torzac stuff, neutrogena, Clean & Clear, Clearasil, Clearasil Ultra, the clearasil cream stuff, Obagi, and a whole bunch of other things over the course of years. Nothing is working to get rid of it. Usually its tolerable cuz its not too bad, but lately its been really bad and i dont know what to do!! School starts in a couple of days and I am really freaking out here. Ive tried home remedies like the honey and cinammon, orange peels, etc…. nothing is making it better…
So if there is ANYTHING that anyone can reccomend that I havent tried already that would be great cuz i am seriously about to lose it!
Im 16 btw… thanks..
O and I drink nothing but water, i drink like 5 16.9 oz bottles of ice water a day.. thats it! And i am on a healthy diet.. ( which seems to have made it worse?…) Advice on that?

Visit the pharmacy and ask for clindamycin..
This is a very effective medication for acne. It controls and prevent irritations caused by bacteria..
Also get azelaic acid..
apply this on your face during the night..after you cleanse your face. This will get rid of the red pigment that the acne leave on your skin…
Use both medication for three weeks throughly and you’ll heal with a clean and clear face….
Instead of Vitamin Drinks I would recommend these vitamins..
Vitamin B1 15mg
vitamin B2 10 mg
vitamin B6 5 mg
VitaminB12 12mg
Vitamin C 500mg
Vitamin E 30
Notice that Vitamin C and E helps with skin renew
Biotin also 45mcg
Niacinmamide…
Nicotinamide has demonstrated the ability to block the inflammatory actions of iodides known to precipitate or exacerbate inflammatory acne.
GOOD LUCK
wish you have beautiful skin in no time
soo I have been using obagi for about 4 years now. I know that it contains hydroquinone..and the tretinoin is a generic type of retin-a. Ive heard your not supposed to use those when your pregnant. I will not be breastfeeding..so is it okay to use these products or should I try something else? I have moderate acne and its clear as of now due to obagi…im just scared….because I just recently found out I was pregnant that my face is going to become a nightmare? and I cant seem to find anything thats "safe"..what do you think?
Don’t use it, your baby can come out with deformities. The medication is in your bloodstream therefore it can be transferred to your baby. Stop using it immediately! Try some other over the counter medication, I like clean and clear or Noxzema. Good luck and ask your doctor what is safe or read the ingredients. A face full of zits is better than a deformed baby and you never know maybe your acne won’t get worse while your pregnant, your hormones change.
